About The owner/builder

Matt started his first company at age of 17 showing his entrepreneurial spirit early in life. That first company grew into successful landscaping company with twenty-eight employees before being sold. In 2001, Matt began his journey into home construction and never looked back. Over the 19+ years projects have ranged in value from $250k to $3.5 million and sizes over 14,000 sq. ft. He has built and sold several different construction firms across multiple construction trades. During his journey Matt has built a vast network of resources and a strong understanding of efficient business practices that he continually uses at Johnston Homes as well as other business endeavors.
